Cozy spot, the original Mio Sushi location. Tasty rolls and noodles.
Bright, good menu, fast service, convenient if you're shopping on 23rd.
This place was a total haven for two weary travelers far away from the Shire. After visiting the Witch's castle, the food and service my friend and I received here was top notch. Also check out the before and after of our plates!
I took my daughter and her friend up to 23rd for the day and we were wanting to find a sushi place for lunch. I googled Mio Sushi and it was literally right around the corner from where we were standing. I am not one for taking chances with new sushi spots but this time it paid off. The sushi was terrific. Fresh and fabulous. We had a spider roll, the tempura roll with spicy tuna and a spicy tuna hand roll, my favorite. The tuna had a good kick to it. The presentation was great and our server and the rest of the staff were friendly and appreciative of our business. I highly recommend this place.
It’s really good — and not too expensive. Chefs are skilled, and the quality of food is fresh and prepared with an artistic touch. Great service. Location is a few feet east from 23rd.
WARNING! Avoid ordering through Postmates for pick-up!! I placed an order, paid, and was given a pickup time for my food. When I arrived I was told that it would be another 30+ minutes before my food was ready. I requested that they cancel the order as I have a limited lunch break and can’t wait. I was told they could stop making the food but I would have to contact Postmates for a refund. I did, and Postmates is telling me that I should have called the merchant to verify the pickup time that they provided and that the merchant will have to issue me a refund. Tl;dr - avoid using online ordering for pickup via Postmates
The food was ok. It was a lot, and had a nice flavor to it. They had really nice and varied vegetarian/vegan options which is what I preferred. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The vibe is cool.
I love their Mt Hood sushi roll. Just the right amount of spice. I higley recommend this place!
Clean facilities, easy take-out
good service, great food, good prices
Mio Sushi has been here for a long time. I came here in the 90s and their food was great back then. Fortunately, the sushi here is still great. We got the Sushizza (used to be sushi pizza.) It's just as good as we remember. The rolls were great too. You can't go wrong with Mio.
First time going to Mio Sushi. Service was friendly, food came out fast and was fresh. However, the food was ok. Also the environment was not to my preference. I went there after a Float experience and was hoping for a more cozy, quiet space. Instead the lighting seemed overly bright, the music seemed overly loud and not what I'm used to hearing at Japanese restaurants. I will not go again.
Good and inexpensive sushi. Some of their special rolls can get pricey but they are delicious. Focus on the regular rolls if trying to keep cost down. Pretty fast service. Good bento boxes. Closed on Sundays. Good happy hour.
Great sushi and great service! Thank you!!
Always super fresh and delicious! The different kinds of tuna are my favorite things to eat here. Everyone's very friendly
A bit pricey compared to other sushi places in the area, but the food quality and taste compromises for it. Service should be improved during peak hours.
One of my favorite place to go in Portland, best Sushi in town, I tried California roll, crab salad, tuna roll, I really recommend this if you want to try a real Japanese sushi.
I have eaten mio sushi for years and have never been disappointed, today changes that primo review.I ordered the Kyu ramen, it was supposed to have half of an egg, corn, green onions, it didnt have any of this, no egg!? How do you forget the egg? Instant ramen would have been better, noodles were way too soft, just not good. Also I ordered fries calamari, what a disappointment! Over cooked, tiny portion hidden in a bed of puffy fried noodles. Not good at all.May not be heading back for a while. Our meal cost us over $50, regret this decision. Boo.
Good, affordable sushi. I'm happy I found this place
(Front to back) Double crunch & beauty and the beast 👌
